🌴 Showcase FAQs 🌴

What is Showcase?

Showcase is TGC’s version of a recital—a fun, high-energy, family-friendly event where athletes get to show off the skills they’ve been working on during their time at TGC. Whether an athlete has been enrolled for a few months or several years, we believe everyone has something to celebrate.

Leading up to Showcase, athletes will work on skills and short routines during class, all with the goal of confidently performing on Showcase day. This event gives family and friends a rare opportunity to see what happens inside our classes and experience what TGC is all about.

Why should my athlete participate in Showcase?

Showcase is an incredible opportunity for athletes to:

  • Build confidence

  • Reduce performance anxiety

  • Work toward a goal

  • Learn discipline, timing, and composure

  • Celebrate their hard work

  • Create fun, lifelong memories

Most importantly, it gives athletes the chance to proudly show off their progress and feel supported by their coaches, teammates, and families.

What is the Showcase fee?

A $20 Showcase fee will be automatically charged on March 1, 2026 for all athletes enrolled in recreational classes. This fee includes:

  • Your athlete’s Showcase registration

  • A complimentary Showcase t-shirt

The Showcase fee allows us to fully plan and execute this event at the level TGC is known for and ensures every athlete is included in the experience.

I’m not participating—why am I being charged?

Showcase is designed as a gym-wide celebration, and all enrolled athletes participate in Showcase preparation during class. Even if your family is unable to attend on the day of the event, your athlete will still benefit from the in-class preparation and will receive their Showcase t-shirt. The Showcase fee helps us create a fun, organized, and memorable event for our entire TGC community.

Do TGC Tots and parents participate?

Yes! Our TGC Tots are often the highlight of Showcase. Tots will perform an easy, follow-along routine that looks very similar to what they do in class—just this time in front of an audience. Parents are welcome to participate alongside their tot as needed and are encouraged to join in at whatever level feels comfortable. Our goal is for this to be a positive, low-pressure, and fun experience for both tots and parents.

Are the parents of the tots charged admission?

All spectators are charged an admission fee; however, each participating tot will receive one parent admission included with their Showcase registration. This allows tots to have their favorite grown-up right there with them so they feel comfortable and confident during their performance. Additional family members and guests will require a spectator ticket.

What is the spectator admission fee?

  • Athletes performing in Showcase do not need a spectator ticket

  • Children under the age of five do not need a spectator ticket

Spectator admission is:

  • $12 per person when purchased in advance

  • $15 per person at the door

Admission allows access to all Showcase sessions for the entire day, giving families the flexibility to come and go.

We just signed up for recreational classes. Do we still need to perform?

Absolutely! Showcase is designed to be welcoming and supportive for athletes of all experience levels. Routine and skill preparation begins in class well ahead of Showcase, giving new athletes plenty of time to learn and feel comfortable. Showcase is about celebrating progress—not perfection—and it’s a fun way to look back at where your athlete’s journey at TGC began.

Is Showcase for my child?

Yes! Showcase is open to every enrolled student at TGC. Whether an athlete has been with us for five minutes or five years, we believe every child deserves to be celebrated for their growth, effort, and role in our community.

My child just signed up—do they have to participate and pay?

Athletes who enroll after March 1, 2026 are still welcome and encouraged to participate in Showcase. These athletes will not be charged the Showcase fee and will not receive a Showcase t-shirt, but they are absolutely invited to be part of the event. We want Showcase to feel inclusive, celebratory, and exciting for all athletes, regardless of when they join TGC.
